This position will be located in our Kharkiv office.
Job Description:
Quickoffice Inc. has an immediate permanent employment opportunity for a Senior IT Specialist for J2EE application software. The desired candidate has extensive (5+ years) experience with deployment of medium to large clustered J2EE applications. Desired skills include J2EE, Clustering, RDBMS, UNIX/LINUX. Primary responsibilities include integration of our products into customer networks, clustering architecture, deployment, maintenance and monitoring of systems, evaluation of tools.
The responsibilities of this position are to:
INSTALL AND CONFIGURE our CTS J2EE application, JBoss, MySQL
OPTIMIZE - tuning of JBoss, MySQL, and VM settings for optimal performance
MONITOR - provide scripts/applications/tools for monitoring server performance and reporting on trouble areas
SCALE - design and maintain optimum scalability performance by architecting the load balancing clustering solution.
A qualified applicant will be a motivated individual who is a self starter and can work well under little supervision. We are building a close knit team of developers who work well together. You must be a strong communicator, both written and oral, comfortable working directly with customers.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Exceptional J2EE (jBoss preferred) skills with at least five recent years of experience including practical experience of clustering, application server configuration.
Exceptional UNIX/LINUX skills with at least five years of experience including administration, networking, virtual machines, monitoring, security and shell scripts.
Experience with relational database systems (MySQL preferred) including configuration, clustering, optimization.
